Just as the oceans make up around 70% of the earth’s surface, water makes up around 70% of the human body. One reflects the other – or as the ancient philosophers understood: ‘as within, so without’.

THE OM VIBRATION

Every garment we make at Impact Inclusive features the symbol, Om, to act as a reminder to the wearer that they are – we all are – an important part of a much greater reality.

 

Om, originally a Buddhist symbol, has transcended faith and culture to become well known and used around the world by people from all walks of life. It represents completeness – all the universe, past, present and future.

 

The symbol itself denotes a spiritual pathway to experience the ultimate reality. Each of its famous curves represents a different state of consciousness – from waking at the base, to dream state to deep sleep – and the highest state of consciousness, or bliss, being the dot at the top. When chanted, Om is also known as the sound of the universe. The vibrations that you create when you vocalize the Om sound energizes the whole body, a sacred vibration that keeps us in tune, aligned and truly alive.

THE IMPACT OF THOUGHTS ON WATER

Research has shown that water has a memory. Japanese scientist Masaru Emoto famously discovered that crystals formed in frozen water reveal changes when specific, concentrated thoughts are directed toward them. Clear spring water, and water that has been exposed to loving words, shows complex and colourful snowflake patterns, while polluted water, and that exposed to negative thoughts, forms incomplete, asymmetrical patterns with dull colours.

 

If, through the vibrating crystalline forms of its atomic particles, water also carries within it our thoughts and intentions, our hopes and dreams, then water carries human consciousness. And if water is mostly (70% or so) what we are made of, then that would imply enormous potential for how we can positively impact both the earth and our personal health.
